Point Lobos State Preserve

Point Lobos is a few miles south of the town of Carmel on Highway 1. This part of the reserve,
Whaler's Cove, is very popular with scuba divers.  On the hill just to the left of the group of rocks jutting out
into the ocean, you can see buildings belonging to a Carmelite monastery.
I took this picture in March 1995.
