Half Dome, Yosemite

I took this picture in January 2001.
This is on the trail to Mirror Lake from the Ahwanee Hotel, Yosemite's premier address.  I could afford lunch
there, but that's about all.  Lunch is casual; jacket and tie are required at dinner.
In the winter, this trail is really deserted, but Mirror Lake has a pay telephone and vending machines.
